For Day 1b, things were slightly different with less than half that amount seated to begin Level 1. However, the poker room at Chamada Prestige Hotel & Casino soon filled up, with eventually 334 entries joining the action.
42 players from Day 1b have now joined the 43 from Day 1a, with just two more flights remaining.

By dinner break, it was Salavat Shafigullin who was clear from the rest of the field as registration closed.
Texas tournament grinder Jared Hemingway was still in contention at this point — adding WPT Prime Cyprus to his Mediterranean vacation with his wife — but he would fall short of Day 2.
Maksim Ausiyevich (pictured) would emerge as the end-of-day chip leader, helped by the elimination of Anatoly Suvorov where Ausiyevich flopped a set of sevens and dodged the flush draw of his opponent.
Others through to Day 2 include Fabio Muhr, Tudor Purice, Dijkkamp and Ugo Faggioli.
